Does calling for a witch's powers include non-witch powers, such as whitelighter abilities, when the spell is invoked? Discuss this here.
When we first encounter this spell being used to summon a Charmed One's powers, its usage occurs after the Source has used the Hollow to steal Paige's and Piper's witch powers. Down to powers, the sisters try to get them back by invoking this spell. They get more than they bargained for. The Source, possessor of the stolen powers, appears in the Manor and the final battle commences.
In Power of Three Blondes, the Stillman sisters use this spell, after first casting an Identity Spell to steal the Charmed Ones' identities, in order to complete their quest to become the evil Charmed Ones. Success is theirs, as the sisters lose thei witch powers. Paige, however, retains her whitelighter ability to orb. Clearly, orbing is not a witch's power and cannot be obtained by this spell.
What sets this spell apart from the "How to Disempower a Witch" spell that was also used to separate the sisters from their witch powers? We might start with the ingredients. Disempowering a witch requires a human or mortal heart, while calling for a witch's powers does not. Disempowering a witch, because it packs more powerful contents, might be accessible to any warlock or demon. Calling for a witch's powers may require the caller to be a witch, or at lesat seem to be a witch.

I think it has to do with the wording of the different spells. The spell To Call A Witch's Power is pretty specific. Powers of the witches' rise Course unseen across the skies Come to us who call you near Come to us and settle here The spell To Disempower A Witch, while specific in title, is a lot more general in actual content and its decry to the magical forces. Before the passing of this hour Take away all of their powers Instead of judging the spells by the title bestowed upon them, we need to look at each spell's actual content. It's the content of the spell itself, not its title, that dictates the effects of these spells after all.

Hello. My name is Kyla Marie. I'd like to have a spell that will call a witch that will come to my house and help me cast spells. Please help me. I'd appreciate it. It will be nice of you if you'd be the one to cast the spell for me. But if you don't have time, I can do it as well. Thank you very much.

Doesn't the disempower spell flow better if we delete the of? Before the passing of this hour Take away all their powers

Agreed. It seems to be a timed to take effect at the next clock iteration of :00 minutes, when the current hour passes.

I am a true believer in all of this,me and my sister just found out were witches and it has been really fun experiencing casting spells and, we have come to a couple of road blocks but not many, we believe that we could be the charmed ones with her, me, and our sister Kylie. We have always had a passion for witchcraft and grew up on the street of the "Charmed Ones". I am a true believer and I hope you get my message to try something out for the first time, and if you are a believer then follow your heart and don't let anyone make you feel anything but yourself.
