Whitelighters cackle when they talk among each other. But for all their clackety-clack, Whitelighters cannot conceal when Piper is being talked about. Oh, that Natalie, does she ever love the whitelighter manual. Well, she will live and die by the book, as Eames, a powerful warlock, is picking over witches one by one over an extended time period in order to gain enough powers to gain access to the Heavens in order to destroy the Elders. Natalie encourages the Charmed Ones to make a detailed plan, practice, practice, practice, dress appropriately and, above all else, listen to their whitelighter. Of course, the Charmed Ones are too obstreperous to do that. They'd rather trust their instincts.

One question frequently asked concerns the Elders. When did Charmed first speak of them as the Elders. True, in Season 1, Leo referred to his superiors as the "Founders" in Secrets and Guys. That reference was instantly dropped, and the Elders became the nameless "they". In this episode, Natalie, a fellow whitelighter, refers to "them" as the Elders.
