As an educator, I cannot overlook, however, one fatal flaw. Odd that it should have been Billie who made the error. But, maybe that was no mistake. In the event, Billie corrected Paige who had just cautioned Billie that demons were "deadly real". Billie replied that adverbs cannot modify nouns. Correct, as far as the statement goes. Adverbs cannot modify nouns. However, real is not a noun. It is an adjective. And, we all should know that adverbs do indeed modify adjectives. Had Paige been not only a protector of the innocent, but a protector of language as well, she would have vanquished Billie right then and there! This may have spared us grief further down the line! Or, Paige could simply have said what she really meant: this is deadly serious. Oh well!
