Welcome the Charmed Ones back for Season 8, the final season, where the sisters have to disguise themselves in order to protect their secret and maintain the myth that they have died when the Nexus was destroyed at the end of Season 7. Comment on this episode here.

My first observation was that the house was in perfect condition for the funeral/memorial service. Didn't it get damaged at the end of season 7, presumably they didn't wait months for the repairs to be completed before having the funeral/memorial service?

Well, maybe. Clearly, the cellar was destroyed and never once during Season 8 do the sisters venture into it. Whether the foundation of the manor was damaged is never addressed, but it did not seem to be. (Of course, in San Francisco or Los Angeles for that matter seismic retro-fitting would have been in order.) But, then, the series never really took issue with repairs to the manor, except when Leo had to repair the front door. How did the wall get repaired in time for the funeral between All Hell Breaks Loose and Charmed Again, Pt 1? For that matter, how did Neighborhood Watch not notice that the manor had just been blown to bits in Kill Billie, Volume 2? We know that Paige surely would have used her favorite spell to fix things "Let the object of objection ...". But she wasn't around at the beginning of Charmed Again. Nor was she alive at the conclusion of Kill Billie.

Well possbily Leo healed the wall after AHBL? If he could heal the P3 sign (Size Matters), then why not a wall?
Although from SWTWG there was a sizable hole in the roof that people did see that I don't know how they fixed that so quickly. Because I can't imagine getting a roofing contractor to work that fast unless Victor had a buddy who owed him a big favor...
The thing that always got me was how no one in the neighborhood noticed the fact that the whole freaking manor disappeared during House Call... With neighbors that unobsevant was it a wonder that they were always getting killed off by demons (and an occassional trio of evil witches)?

Uh, how come nobody noticed all the car alarms going off in Forever Charmed? I mean the house was blown to bits. Surely neighborhood watch would have already been keeping an eye on the place after the side of the manor was blown to bits in the potion portion of the Ultimate Battle Mark I. Puzzling, puzzling, indeed! Wouldn't it have been much nicer if Phoebe had had a premonition that the manor would be blown to bits, if the sisters took on Billie and Christy?

Okay, how many times have I watched this and let Billie get away with absolute nonsense. When Paige confronts Billie and chides her with the argument that this "buzz" that Billie has does not derive from a video game. Rather, it is "deadly real". Billie retorts that an adverb cannot be used with a noun. Fair enough, if it were appropriate. It's not. Real is an adjective, not a noun. And, adverbs - one of the things they do - is modify adjectives. "Deadly real" - as awkward as the phrase may be - does not violate the rules of grammar.
Our first encounter then with Billie presents us with a smart-alecky teenager who, though she has powers, has yet to master her craft. She is clever and witty, but quite off the mark.
