Prue just has to be the first one married. She's the oldest. She's supposed to experience everything first. True enough, biker babe Prue did wreck Piper's wedding, but this came after Prue unwittingly was married in a dark wedding. Talking about shotgun weddings. Try this scorpion laced kiss that paralyzes Prue and allows Zile, a warlock, to be wed to Prue by a dark priestess. Is it love? No, there wasn't even a courtship! But can demons or warlocks ever truly love.
Not surprisingly, Cole provides us with an answer in this really nifty episode. His claim, a much disputed one by some members of the greater Charmed community, is that demons cannot love. What they do, they do for gratification. Lust is a four letter word and accurately describes demonic desire.

Wasn't the warlock named Zile? (A Zine is a completely different kind of demon, one that fills your email inbox with lots of crap you definitely don't want...)
I think I used to dislike this episode? Maybe I was just getting this one confused with that other really sucky demonic wedding episode "Episode from Hell". Because rewatching this one, it was definitely a fun episode. Sure it suffered from a contrived plot (the turn one turn them all thing) and a dull villian (Liked the name Dantallian, but the character and actress...not so much). But how could anyone not love "Pigs in Blankets."? And Holly's expression after she blinks is priceless. I also love how it opens with the callback to Chick Flick with Billy in Kill It Before It Dies and Cole's reference to learning from the demon of illusion. Continuity, Wow! I'd take an ep like this over later season junk anyday.

Typo time! I've corrected the typo in my first post. Come on, admit it. You also liked "stick in the mud" as an apt description of Leo, whitelighter boyscout!
