In Triquetra, Keith Topping points to the placement of one cone near the phone company vehicle as proof of a logical contradiction to Piper's statement that the lack of a cone indicated that the truck was suspicious and as evidence of a major weakness in plot. Mr. Topping couldn't be any more wrong.
We see the SBC van pull up and park alongside the curb. When Jackman gets out, he never even pauses to place one cone. He immediately climbs into the back of the van and dons the headphones. The cone that Mr. Topping is referring to is the set of cones affixed to the left front bumper. There is a small stack of cones there that are never touched by Agent Jackman. Piper was right. This was highly suspicious!
